Cable news network NewsNation has hired political analyst and commentator Katie Pavlich to host a program in its 10 p.m. time slot, the channel announced Monday.
Pavlich, who previously served as a political contributor and analyst for Fox News Channel, is set to begin her hosting role at NewsNation in 2026. She will take over the hour previously hosted by Ashleigh Banfield, The Hill reported
Banfield will continue with the network and oversee its true crime digital segment, the company announced
Pavlich’s politics-based show will cover topics “such as free speech, culture, immigration, national security, and foreign policy,” the network said in announcing her new show. The focus of her program will feature “spirited debates along with dynamic panel discussions and in-depth conversations with key newsmakers.”
“We’re pleased to give our primetime viewers an additional hour of political news and analysis that helps them make sense of the day’s most important headlines,” Sean Compton, president of Nexstar Networks, said in announcing the signing.
