Another victim of the blackened road after a head-on collision with a truck is a doctor and former mayor of the Cherven Bryag municipality.

His car was dragged dozens of meters after he swerved into oncoming traffic due to an icy section, and the impact proved fatal, according to a post by the road expert.

 

"A deep bow to his memory and sincere condolences to the relatives of Dr. Tsvetan Kostadinov," wrote Rusinova.
